We want boutiqueshop-modules.com to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification.

The standard we aim for

WCAG 2.1 level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act (in force since 28 June 2025).

Where we stand

This is an honest statement rather than a claim of full conformance: the site has been built with accessibility in mind — semantic markup, keyboard-reachable controls, visible focus, sufficient colour contrast, text alternatives for images — but it has not been through a formal third-party audit. We are not claiming a level of assurance we have not paid for.

Known limitations we are aware of:

  • Product screenshots illustrate the interface; where the detail in one matters, the surrounding text describes it, but the images themselves are not fully described.
  • The checkout runs on Lemon Squeezy, whose accessibility is governed by their own statement, not ours.

Micro-enterprise note

The European Accessibility Act exempts micro-enterprises (fewer than 10 people, under €2m turnover) from some obligations, and we currently meet that definition. We are publishing this statement anyway, because "we are too small to have to care" is a poor reason to be unusable.
